so my cat has this crazy fear of the doorbell. when ever it rings she freezes up for a moment, then runs to the living room, runs along the far wall right underneath the window, across by the fireplace, and then slipps behind the couch. it doesnt matter where she is in the house, even if she is right beside the couch she still has to run all the way around the room and then go behind it. every single time the doorbell rings(so halloween isn't exactly her fave time of year..) so the other day my parents moved the furniture around in the living room. boots was sleeping in my room so she had no idea about this, and then daniel, decided it would be fun to tease her, so he put her in the kitchen then ran outside and rang the doorbell. it was priceless, boots ran to the livingroom, started towards the far wall but had to cut across the room because the couch was in her way ran to where the couch should have been and then stopped. suddenly realizing that the couch was no longer there, she froze, then glanced toward the front entry, then slowly crouching down as low as she could she walked to where her hiding spot should be then hid behind a small basket since it was the only thing there she could hid behind.
i must admit i did kinda feel bad, but it was very funny watching her panic like that... she still hasnt figured out that she can actually hid behind the couch, that its only in a different spot, poor kitty doesnt like change very much.
